About the class
Have you ever wanted to have a go on the potters wheel? To shape the earth as it spins, using your hands and will power to create anything you can imagine?
Well, start your journey with a Pottery Wheel Experience workshop!
Join a group of 3 other intrepid clay adventurers as you learn the basics of getting to grips with the wheel and have the chance to feel the earth beneath your fingers in a way you never have before.
You’ll have the full support of your experienced pottery teacher during the session and should leave having made a pot or two.
Guildford Pottery elves will then fire and glaze your pieces, ready for collection approximately 4 weeks after your workshop.

Firstly, thank you so much you choosing to join us at the start of your pottery journey! We're a completely new studio, so your support really is appreciated. Please wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. Long hair needs to be tied back. Nails should be cut short. Leave any expensive jewellery, bracelets necklaces, rings and watches at home.
