At Guildford Pottery, you can let your creativity run wild, surrounded by like-minded enthusiasts, with all the tools and resources you need right at your fingertips. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a curious beginner who has already started working with clay, you are invited to continue to explore, experiment, and express yourself through the transformative art of pottery.

With open access, you only pay for the time you spend crafting your masterpiece. All firing and glaze costs are included in the price of clay, so you can focus on shaping your vision without worrying about hidden fees.

Open access is self guided. There will be a teacher around to check in with you and help you occasionally - but this is a space for you to explore with your own objectives and goals, with our support.

Please note that anyone wanting to use a potters wheel, will need to have completed an intro course with us, or be suitably experienced. Also, as we are a small studio, we do not have the capacity to store lots of work in progress, so we recommend bringing a storage box with you to take your pieces home.
